So today an update came that made all Lucky items tradable. Meaning that items from SoF and donations can be traded for money.
Theres a few things i wanna go over here. Lets start with: Community communication.
I don't understand why you did not communicate with the community before even thinking about adding this. After talking with some pepole i can almost swear it would not even got a 20% favor. Communicating with the community is KEY for a successful game. Of Course some small changes maybe does not need to be addressed but changing the economy completely, surely is!
Value of spending time in-game.
Now with the new system a new player can become richer than players that have spent weeks or even MONTHS grinding bosses. This takes away the feeling of being special.
Personally i've lost all interest in PVM because i don't care to spend time getting drops when i know a new player that is willing to spend a few bucks can get what i've been grinding DAYS for. I no longer feel like im worth anything. A feeling of accomplishment is now gone.
Now i know theres some items you can't get from Mboxes but it does not take away that pepole can trade lucky items for money and later on buying the item that they want for that money.
After reading the discord i've seen that "Onyx" have a lot of money in to this server. I dont know if your low on money after every month but if you wanna run a high budget server you gotta get real Owners/Sponsors. Make all pepole with an Owner/Co-Owner rank pay a % of the server cost. And if its still to much you hire another Co-Owner. Message the hosting companies for discounts and keep looking for other hosts that are willing to give a good discount.
Now, If its decided that lucky items will still be tradeable i suggest making them lower stats than normal ones. So its less valuable.
Im 100% for making them untradable again because for me lucky items should only help the person that wants to spend that extra few bucks. Not make so he can trade it for whatever later on.
I leave you with that. Hope you find my point of view interesting and helpful.
